Reading Frenzy

What to do, what to do. I have so much reading to do and it's only the first week of classes. What was I thinking taking 2 English and Philosophy class? I must have been smoking some green stuff when I registered. I'm most concerned about the Phil. class. He's assigned Kant for one of the readings. I started looking at it this morning and gave myself a headache. I'm hoping that only happened because I was tired and still trying to wake up.

I haven't seen the girls in 3 weeks and Steph is having a BBQ at her place on Saturday. I want to go but I'm not sure if I should. I'm going to see how things go tomorrow and how big of a dent I can make on the reading pile.

The VIFF sneak peak brochure was released yesterday. I've already circled a few selections that look particularly good. I only hope I can find the time and $ to see at least a few!

Back to work now. I have filing that's been piling up for a week!

usually for me, the class discussions of the readings really help me to get a grasp on the complex and sometimes abstract principles we are supposed to get out of reading authors like Kant.
good luck!

Lisa: I hope so. The first class was a bit of a nightmare. He talked about morality and ethics before we even did any reading and everyone was looking around at each other like we'd missed the boat.

I think it'll be ok. Or at least I hope so!

I've got a page set up here. I've not done much with it. Mebbe it's time to mess around again....

Evil professor - making you read Kant. Now, is s/he making you read it in the originial German?
