January 22, 2008 -- Actor Heath Ledger was found dead today in his Broome Street apartment, apparently from a drug overdose.

I know, this is so sad and out of left field. I didn't even know he had a drug problem. What's worse is that he's one of my fave up and coming actors. It's too bad that we'll never get to see if he would grow into the great actor he looked to be growing into.
