Gotta tell you, I've been pining for Friday since Tuesday. There's a great weekend ahead and I'm really excited.

Tomorrow is a screening of Carl Bessai's "Normal" with a Talkback session with the director and crew, then recording a podcast AND THEN a free talk by the fantastic William Gibson at UBC. Sunday I'm meeting with a friend from my film class and Sunday night kicks off the first part of BBC's "Pride and Prejudice" on Masterpiece Theater as part of their Complete Jane Austen series. It's being shown in three parts and, I noticed, with no commercials. Very nice.

The other reason I've been pining to Friday is to share with you the fantastic KFF with some great new photos of the great Keanu in his upcoming film "Street Kings" (renamed from "Nightwatch"). I have to admit, I like Keanu in all sizes but wow, he's looking exceptionally buff here:
