I love cars but am only a passing fan of hockey. Hubby on the other hand, has a love for both. We usually hit the autoshow when it rolls into town and I fully expected to be attending this weekend, camera in tow to snap some pictures of the upcoming new beauties, but hubby surprised me last night.
He suggested that rather than spend money on the autoshow, we buy a pair of tickets to the second round playoff game of the Vancouver Giants. To my great surprise, there were still great seats available and the best part, the tickets were cheap.
Autoshow tickets run $15 each. Playoff hockey tickets (in what is one of the most exciting leagues): $19.99. Decision made. We now have two tickets to see the Giants on Saturday night. I may not be a huge hockey fan but I can't help but get excited, especially when you're there with a crowd of adoring fans and the energy is through the roof. Here's hoping we win big!!
Now a question: is it acceptable to take my DSLR to the game or do I stick with the point and shoot camera?
