It's been a bit of a weird morning. There was a meeting in New West this morning which meant that instead of coming into the office, I met the boss lady over in my neighbourhood. I started the day a bit earlier than usual but I was able to sit through the meeting, which actually ran a bit long, and by the time we ended back downtown, it was after 12. Essentially, I've only been here for an hour and it's really thrown me for a bit of a loop. A good loop (less work time today) but it took me 20 minutes to get settled in. Now, I'm just mustering up the energy to get through the rest of the day. Hopefully it'll go quickly.

Nothing much else to report really. Should be a good and semi quiet weekend which is going to revolve mostly around my electronics purchase tomorrow (which I'm very, very excited about) and a couple of papers (including one on New Religions with a specific focus on New Age) and surprisingly, I'm really looking forward to sitting down and really looking at some of this stuff in more detail. Should be fun.
