It's a beautiful day out there and I can't believe I'm stuck inside. Hopefully this wonderful spring weather will come back for the weekend!
I'm a bit worried about D. He hasn't been sleeping well and I think it's due to the stress at work. He's not much of a drug taker but he mentioned yesterday that if this was still going on next week, he would go to the doctor. This is a sign that he's not doing well. He only goes to doctors as a last resort. This worries me even more. I'm not sure what I can do to help him sleep. So I'll put it out there in blogland. Any suggestions on anything he can do to help him sleep? Any help is much appreciated.
And the triumphant return of the stupid things said. The calendar is really pretty lame but once in a while, a good one comes up and this is one of does days. Enjoy.

For the sleep thing, I don't have any short-term ideas...usually just trying to find ways to relax and decompress at the end of the day helps.
Or getting in more exercise!

Sounds a little odd, and some guys won't go for it, but a hot bath can work. Even just convincing him to soak his feet in a hot tub of water and give him a foot massage.
Or doing something that forces him to clear his mind before bed...watching TV doesn't cause an active turn-off. Going for a brisk walk in the evening can help.
I have insomnia frequently. I get up and do something rather than lie in bed worrying about not sleeping. Eventually, I know I will be tired enough to sleep. But an overly busy mind is usually the culprit.
