The most difficult semester of classes for me is now officially finished. I completed my last exam last night, a tricky but fairly straight forward multiple choice and t/f exam. I also got back my 2 last papers and did fairly well on both, A-. One happened to be a play review and I received some excellent comments and criticism regarding the writing but generally, she was impressed with the tone, quirkiness and how I managed to bring in a little background research. I think most of these strengths can be traced back to my review writing over the last year or so. Both papers, and my last English paper too, had notes on my sentence structure and how I should try to keep them shorter and more concise. I tend to want to string related thoughts together in one sentence rather than breaking it up over a few and that's causing me a little heartache. It's something I'm going to have to watch out for with a little more diligence. But it's done. Over. Finito. Now I have 3 glorious weeks of no school and then summer semester which will be almost like more vacation considering I'm taking 1 class and it's a film class to boot. I can't begin to express how excited I am (except for the fact I bring it up at least once a week).
The weekend is supposed to be beautiful. I have plans with the girls tomorrow which will be fun considering we haven't seen each other in well over a month. And since D is off in the great city of Calgary (that, btw, got 22cm of snow yesterday - D's flight was canceled and they had to leave earlier and when they arrived over there, they didn't think they could make it to the hotel!), I'm going to stay up extra late with a bunch of movies I've been trying to watch for a few weeks. I'll be making an extra special, late in the evening pit stop at Blockbuster tonight.
Now, on to one of the best things about Fridays, the KFF.
Have a great weekend everyone!
