I particularly love the bit about the Coen Brothers adapting "The Yiddish Policemen's Union" which falls in the highbrow/brilliant quarter. Does that mean that to make the matrix PT Anderson has to adapt some equally strange sounding book? Not sure. I'd think that There Will Be Blood would count.
